Hi everyone! I’m excited—not only do I have a new release this week, but for the first time, I’m interviewing one of my own characters. Should be interesting!

Welcome Ayden, from my EC novella, Taking Tara. So Ayden, if I know you, you did your research before you ever agreed to Slip Between the Sheets. So you tell me, what’s my first question?

Ayden: Boxers or briefs? <smirking> Have to say, Alyssa, I’ve no idea how all those men you’ve interviewed can stand having their thing flopping around. Me? I need support and there’s no sense in wasting money on anything fancier than good, old fashioned cheap white underwear. Like I always say—

Alyssa: “A penny saved is a penny earned.” But come on. You must have at least one guilty pleasure you splurge on?

Ayden: When it comes to pleasure, I don’t scrimp at all. I’m a man who likes his sex rough and wild and the? last time I checked, getting dirty in the sack doesn’t cost a cent.

Alyssa: Not unless you’re bald, oily and old! Which you aren’t! Even with your bad fashion taste (sorry, but come on Ayden—socks with sandals!?) I can tell you’re hot. Have you ever considered swapping out your khakis for jeans and your glasses for contacts?

Ayden: I did once—it was the only way I could think to get Tara’s attention. And boy, did I! But once I got done riding that sweet ass of hers, I realized how bittersweet the ruse was. I think we both learned a valuable lesson that weekend I kidnapped her. Appearances aren’t everything. It’s what is in your heart that counts.

Alyssa: Aw. So you two are getting pretty serious? Any plans for marriage? Kids?

Ayden: Marriage, yes. And we just bought a new condo. But kids aren’t in our immediate plans. We want a family very much, but not for two years. We’re waiting to complete the next step in my life plan, when I’ll reach my financial goal of half a million in my retirement savings. Then, if Tara wants, she can stop working.

Alyssa: Half a mil? Boy, you must plan on living large as a granddad! But what if you won the lotto? Would you have kids now?

Ayden: I’d have to be wasting money on tickets in the first place. No Alyssa, I’m making my own lotto. I’ll retire to my beach house by fifty-five and live my older years out comfortably and playing with the grandkids with no worries. What scratch off can guarantee that?

Alyssa: Plans, shmans! I know you Ayden and you have an impulsive side! Come on, admit it! Tell us the craziest thing you’ve ever done.

Ayden: Besides kidnapping Tara, tying her up and whisking her to my beach house? Ah, Alyssa, but that was completely preplanned. And so was the threesome we had… Kinda. Mostly.

Okay, not much at all. I never expected Tara to want to invite another guy into our sex life, but once she did, how could I not deliver?

Alyssa: But weren’t you jealous?

Ayden: What for? Tara knows that hand that spanks her. :)
