Happy Inauguration Day!
Okay, do people actually say Happy Inauguration Day? I suppose not, but I’m happy and want to spread the cheer! So maybe we should! J Earlier today. I took time out from writing to watch President Obama’s speech—very well-done, sir! And I’m just in awe at the turn-out Washington DC received for the event. All very moving!
Anyway, enough politic talk. It’s that time again…time to Slip Between the Sheets! Today, Selena Illyria is back, this time with Rysen, her hero from her latest Loose-Id release, Trapped. The cover is awesome, the book sounds awesome…so let’s find out more!
Hi Rysen! I'm thrilled to
have you here—tell me you'll warm up this cold winter day! 
Rysen: Oh, I'd be more than happy to. I loathe cold days. It's always good to find someone to warm up with. *Devilish Grin*
Alyssa: Well, Rysen, I always like to start my interviews with a bang, but I think it's time for a different question. So instead of asking about your choice of undies, inquiring minds want to know—what's your best body part? When you down at yourself, in the mirror, or whatever, what one piece of you manages to shift your ego into overdrive? Describe in detail please!
Rysen: LOL. What an odd question. Hmmm...I honestly can't say there is anything on my body that could boost my ego now if you ask about Kit's body that's a completely different situation. LOL
Alyssa: An odd question!? LOL. Little do you know, I've a bet going with the readers—my money was with a guy answering his you-know-what every time.
So, Rysen, if it's Kit's body you want to talk about, tell me, what her best body part? Or rather, what's your favorite part of her body? And you only get to chose one area!
Rysen: LMAO! Oh, very funny. I don't know any guys would actually answer with that! LOL. Just one. Very unfair. Let me think... can I say the torso? LOL
Alyssa: The torso. LOL. I'll admit, for a while that answer stumped me. Then I got it. Clever man, you're laying claim to all the important parts! So Rysen, the blurb to your story mentions you once rejecting Kit. Obviously you find her attractive, so why push her away?
Rysen: Her clan had lost it's leader and they were looking for someone to help make them powerful again while they rebuilt. The way things were said, it made her seem more like a piece of property they were trying to sell rather than a woman who had a say. As much as I wanted her and loved her, I refused go along with such a thing. So, as much as it pained me I rejected her and their offer.
Alyssa: Very noble of you! So Rysen, do you have supernatural powers? And to the opposite effect, any weaknesses (supernatural or not)?
Rysen: Thank You. Well as far as weaknesses go, I can't tell you that. What if one of enemies was reading this? Powers on the hand, hmm... I can enter a person's mind and communicate with them. Also, I have the ability to manifest my power, making it solid. Very useful in fun situations.
Alyssa: So cool. Now, this ability to enter a mind…is it viable in the bedroom? Can you see what Kit is thinking? Can you make her think things? Want certain things?
Rysen: Yes,
it could be used in the bedroom but why just leave it in the bedroom? Yes, but
I choose not to. I'd prefer Kit to tell me her thoughts herself, willing share
with me. As for the making her want certain things, it's possible but I
wouldn't do it. I like to live. *chuckle*
Alyssa: Speaking of living, what's your favorite thing to do (besides make love to Kit!)?
Rysen: Just enjoying life and savoring the little things. I missed so much before I was turned now I appreciate everything I have. Sappy I know.
Alyssa: What "little things"? Name some!
Rysen: Little things such as, just laughing, spending time with friends and loved ones, good food and wine, walking around after the first snow, simple joys so to speak.
Alyssa: Sounds so peaceful! But I'm sure that hasn't always been so. Tell me, Rysen, what's the most daring thing you've ever done?
Rysen:
Well, just as long as it's between me and you, I have had sex in the snow
before. *chuckling* Ahh, the memories, there are many other things I've done
but I have to keep some secrets, you understand right? I will say some of my
escapades involved leather and blindfolds.*chuckles again*
Alyssa: Speaking of first snows, we're hoping for ours. Until now, it's
threatened with flurries and ice galore, but nothing you can play in!
Rysen: Oh, I love snow and naked flesh. The combination... *gets
distracted*
Alyssa: *getting distracted herself* Why Rysen, thank you for the inspiration...and for being such a good sport and letting me interview you! It's been fun, but I better let you go before we get trapped in together.
Rysen:*Chuckles* Yes, you're welcome and thank you for interviewing. *glances out the window and sees all the snow* Yes, I better back to Kit. Have a wonderful New Year and thank you again.
